Reply 0412 · Merino Base Layer

The review4 out of 5 stars14 March

Bought this for a walking week in the Cairngorms. Warm, light, and it did not scratch the way wool usually does. Sizing runs a little long in the body.

The reply

Thank you, that is exactly what the fabric is for. We knit this base layer at 17.5 micron, which is the reason merino does not itch the way coarser wool does. On sizing, the body is cut long on purpose so it stays tucked. Take your usual size and expect the extra length.

What Google seesBefore your reviews load

Google and ChatGPT do not wait for your widget. They read the page anyway.

Most review apps add your reviews after the page has loaded. By then Google has looked and left. Ours are written into the page itself, so every search engine reads them, and your page loads no slower.

Four of the five biggest review apps work the other way. Open any of them and use View Source, then open ours.

Nobody types “does merino itch” for fun. They type it with the jumper already in their basket and one worry left. Your reply is what they find. That is a new customer your ads never reached, and you paid nothing to reach them.

Merino Base Layer · Fern and Salt

Superfine merino, knitted at 17.5 micron. Machine washable, cut long so it stays tucked.

Why it happens

  1. A normal review app only runs after your page has finished loading.
  2. Google reads the page it was given, then leaves.
  3. Anything the app adds after that, Google never saw.
One page, two outcomesThe same product page, two ways. Example store and rating.

A good reply takes ten minutes and reaches one person. That is the most expensive copywriting in retail, and every store is doing it.

Support answers the customer. Marketing gets a page that ranks. One sentence, both departments, your own campaign phrases woven in.

It arrives wearing your store. Then it compounds.

How it knows

It does not ask you to pick a colour. It opens one of your product pages and measures what your theme already paints.

Nothing here was chosen.

Six values, measured in one pass. Change your theme next month and the widget follows it. Override any single one whenever you like.

PulseWhat the reviews also tell you

Your customers rewrite your product page.

We ask why they are buying, at checkout. Their review, weeks later, says whether it happened. Nobody else has the first half.

  1. At checkout, she tells you why

The page says visible results in two weeks and that is exactly what I need before my sister gets married.

  2. 22 days later, she tells you what happened

Six weeks and I cannot see a difference. It did not do the thing it says on the page.

  3. So your product page changes

    Visible results in two weeks.

Most people notice a difference between four and six weeks. A few see it sooner.

11 of the 14 buyers who ordered on the two-week claim say it took longer.

One sentence changed, and the buyers it misled wrote the new one. The same reading finds slow parcels, bad batches and the customers worth an email, each routed to whoever can fix it.

The categoryWhere we sit

You already pay for a review app. It has never written a sentence.

Yotpo, Okendo, Loox, Judge.me, Stamped — all display reviews well. None answers a question. None carries a search phrase. None rewrites a word. And words that never change never match a new search.

What the category sells

  • Collect reviews after an order, with photo and video
  • Show them under the buy button, on brand
  • Put star ratings on your Google results
  • And now, at the top of the market, report where you rank inside AI answers

What none of it writes

  • A reply that answers the customer and carries a real search phrase
  • Rewriting replies you already published, as the phrasing shifts
  • Your marketing team’s phrases, carried into the sentence your support team writes
  • Any of it on a store doing less than $10M a year

The category’s AI visibility product opens at $10M in annual sales, priced on a call. This one starts free.

The questions01–10

Before you type an email address.

Answered plainly. If yours is not here, ask it.

  • Can it publish a reply without me seeing it first?

Only if you switch it on. Auto-approve ships off for every rating. And there is a floor you cannot lift: one and two star reviews, anything carrying a photo or video, anything raising safety, damage, refund or legal language. Those always wait for a human.

  • Will the replies sound like a machine wrote them?

It learns from your own past replies, reviews and site copy, so the voice is one your customers have already read. Edit or bin any draft that reads wrong. The next one learns.

  • Do keywords end up in replies to bad reviews?

Never. One and two star replies carry no woven phrases: an unhappy customer gets an answer, not a marketing opportunity.

  • What does it cost?

From $0. The first paid tier is $29 a month. Annual is twelve months for the price of ten, and the free plan never asks for a card.

  • Do I pay anything now?

Nothing on the free plan, which never asks for a card. Atelier and Maison run a 16-day trial that does, charged on day 17 through your Shopify invoice. Uninstall before then and nothing is owed.

  • Will I get charged for going over a limit?

Nothing is ever billed on its own. You are told at 90%. Everything keeps working for seven more days. Then new reviews queue until you decide.

  • What happens to my Google stars if I move?

Switch review apps and your stars usually vanish from Google for weeks. We treat keeping them there as our problem. Your reviews come with you: imported as part of setup, counting toward your rating from day one.

  • Is support going to cost extra?

Everyone gets real support, free accounts included. Charging to ask a question is how a cheap plan is made unusable.

  • How is this different from the review app I already have?

They collect. They display. They do both well. What none of them does is write a sentence: a reply that answers the customer, carries a phrase buyers search for, and gets rewritten when that phrase moves. That is the job nobody in this category does.

  • What happens when I start?

Within minutes the engine has read every review you already have and drafted a reply to each one, in your voice. New reviews get a draft minutes after they land. Nothing reaches a customer until you say so, and a person reads every signup.

The askFree plan

You already own the reviews. Find out what they’re worth.

The scan reads one page, once. Sign up and every review you have ever had goes through the engine within minutes, each with a draft reply in your voice. No card. Auto-approve ships off on every rating.

  • We will never surprise-charge you.
  • Your Google stars survive the move.
  • Support is not a pricing tier.

Fill this in and the engine reads your storefront and writes you a reply in your own voice, here, before you sign up.

No card, now or at the end. A person reads every signup, usually inside a working week.
