BeyondReviews, in one line.

Most review apps reassure the shopper already on the page; this one is built to help the next shopper find the page.

The full paragraph

BeyondReviews is a Shopify review app. It does the job every review app does, collecting reviews by email and showing them on the store with photo and video, star ratings in Google and every widget, on every plan including the free one. Then it puts the reviews to work. Chorus counts the phrases a store’s own customers repeat on each product. The reply desk drafts an answer to every review in the store’s voice, with one of those phrases worked in where it fits, and holds it for the merchant’s approval. The phrases the merchant approves are printed into the product page’s own HTML, with Product and Review structured data, where Google and AI answer engines read them. The short version for a script: most review apps reassure the shopper already on the page; this one is built to help the next shopper find the page.

Five facts you can quote word for word.

Correct on 24 September 2026. Check /pricing/ on the day you publish.

  1. 01

The free plan costs $0 and never asks for a card: 100 orders a month, unlimited review-request emails, 10 AI replies a month, photo and video reviews and Google star ratings included.

  2. 02

Paid plans are Studio at $29 a month, Atelier at $99 and Maison at $249, with Enterprise from $750. Billing goes through the store’s Shopify invoice, Atelier and Maison have a 16-day trial, and annual billing is 12 months for the price of 10.

  3. 03

Chorus counts the phrases a store’s customers repeat on each product, and a phrase only counts once three different customers have used it.

  4. 04

Phrases the merchant approves are printed into the product page HTML with Product and Review structured data, so crawlers that do not run JavaScript still read them.

  5. 05

Nothing publishes without the merchant’s approval: auto-approve ships switched off, and 1 and 2 star reviews always wait for a human and never have a search phrase worked into the reply.

Rating: 4.6· 2,746 reviews

“The bites break cleanly in half and stay whole in a pocket all day.” Soft chicken and oat training treats, baked in small batches. A 1kg screw-top tub, about 900 bites.

Why it happens

  1. A normal review app only runs after your page has finished loading.
  2. ChatGPT and the other AI engines read the page they were given, then leave.
  3. Google runs the app too, but later, on a second pass. Until then, the reviews are not on the page it reads.
One page, two outcomesExample store.
  1. Open a product page with reviews
  2. View source: Ctrl+U, or Cmd+Option+U
  3. Search it for a review sentence
  4. Found or not found: say which
  5. Paste the store into the free scan
  6. Read the result out
Full shot notes, and why this angle works

This is the most visual of the three, and it works for any Shopify audience whether or not they ever install BeyondReviews. The point is simple: the crawlers behind ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity read the page as it arrives and do not run JavaScript, so reviews that only appear once a widget script has loaded may be invisible to them. Your viewers can check their own store in two minutes, and so can you, on camera.

Be fair on screen. Some review apps already put review text in the HTML and some do not, and the result depends on the store and the theme as much as on the app. Show what you find, not what you expected to find.

  1. Open any Shopify product page with reviews on it, your own or a viewer’s, with permission.
  2. Press Ctrl+U (Cmd+Option+U on a Mac) to view the page source, the HTML as a crawler receives it.
  3. Press Ctrl+F and search for a sentence you can see in one of the reviews on the live page.
  4. Found it: the review text reaches crawlers. Not found: it is loaded by script after the page arrives.
  5. Now open /tools/ai-readiness-checker/ on beyondreviews.app and paste the store address. No account needed.
  6. Read the result out: whether the reviews reach the HTML, the phrases three or more customers repeat on that product, and a sample reply in the store’s voice with a real search phrase worked in.
Angle 2Replies, with approval

Replying to 100 reviews in an evening, with approval

  1. Install on a test store
  2. Open the reply desk
  3. Approve, edit, regenerate, reject
  4. Show a 1 star review waiting for a person
  5. Point out the phrase limits
  6. Stop the clock and report
Full shot notes, and why this angle works

Most stores never answer their reviews, and the reason is time, not intent. Research on hotel reviews found that once a business starts replying, it receives more reviews and its ratings rise. This angle tests whether the backlog can be cleared in one sitting without handing the store’s voice to a machine. Treat the 100 as the challenge, not a promise: time yourself and report the real number.

On Studio and above, the reviews a store already has are read and replied to at signup, so a store with an existing backlog arrives to a queue of drafts rather than a blank page. On the free plan there are 10 AI replies a month, which is enough to show the flow but not to clear a backlog.

  1. Install on a test store with existing reviews (the free month of Maison below covers this).
  2. Open the reply desk and show a draft next to the review it answers.
  3. Approve one, edit one, regenerate one and reject one, so viewers see that each draft is a proposal.
  4. Find a 1 or 2 star review and show that it waits for a person and carries no search phrase.
  5. Point out the ceilings: at most two phrases in a reply, never in more than 35% of a page’s replies, and none until a page has 8 replies.
  6. Stop the clock and say how many you got through, and how many you changed before approving.

Full shot notes, and why this angle works

This is a comparison, but not a feature war. Judge.me is a dependable, well-priced way to collect and display reviews, with good search markup, and plenty of stores are well served by it. The interesting question for your audience is what happens after a review is collected: does it sit on the page as reassurance, or does it get answered and put to work? That is the difference worth filming.

Read Judge.me’s own pricing page on the day you record rather than quoting ours, and say that you are a BeyondReviews affiliate before you start.

  1. Show the same product page style on a store running each app, and compare how the reviews display. Expect both to look good.
  2. Run both stores through /tools/ai-readiness-checker/ and compare the readouts honestly.
  3. In BeyondReviews, open Chorus on one product and show the phrases customers repeat, each with the reviews behind it.
  4. Approve a phrase and reload the product page to show it printed in the page, then view source to show it in the HTML.
  5. Open the reply desk and show an answered review, then ask the audience which matters more to their store: collecting, or answering.
  6. Point viewers to /compare/beyondreviews-vs-judgeme for the full side by side.

Say it near the start, before the link.

Say you are an affiliate, and that you got a free account if you did. In the video and in the description.

Why, and where the rules come from

Tell your audience clearly that you are an affiliate, and that you were given a free account if you were. Say it in the video itself, near the start and before the link, and put it in the description or at the top of the article, in plain words such as "I earn a commission if you sign up through my link, and BeyondReviews gave me a free account to test it". In the US the FTC’s endorsement guides expect this, in the UK the ASA and the CAP Code do, and the EU and most other markets have equivalent rules. This is practical guidance, not legal advice: if you are unsure what your market requires, check your regulator’s own guidance.

The limits, stated plainly.

  • No published case studies
  • No published customer numbers
  • Demo-store figures are illustrative
  • Statements by email, no portal
  • One rate for everyone
  • One store per subscription
In our words

We have not published case studies or customer numbers, and we would rather say so than let you find out. The store you will see on the product page and in screenshots is a demo store, and its data is illustrative. There is no partner portal (statements arrive by email with the numbers in them), no co-marketing or webinars, and no tier ladder: one rate for everyone. Each subscription covers one store. If your piece needs a number we have not published, the honest answer is that it does not exist yet.
