How to Export Reviews From Stamped (2026)
Stamped exports reviews through a filtered search, emails anything over 50 reviews, and leaves photos and videos out of the self-serve file. The exact steps, what the file holds, how to get the media, Q&A and NPS, and how to keep your Google stars through the move.
In the Stamped dashboard, open Reviews, pick the tab you want, apply a filter or keyword search, then click the download button that appears. Any export over 50 reviews is emailed to the registered address rather than downloaded. The self-serve file leaves out photo and video attachments, so for a complete copy email [email protected] and ask for all review data including the media files.
Why stores are exporting from Stamped in 2026
Stamped is a solid, mature platform that runs reviews and loyalty together, and many stores have used it for years. A common reason for an export this year is a pricing change. Stamped has removed its free plan and no longer supports stores on its Starter tier, and its help centre says that after installing you need a paid plan to display your reviews in its widgets. Paid reviews plans on the Shopify App Store start at $23 a month for up to 200 orders, then $99 for up to 1,000 and $199 for up to 5,000.
For a store that was on the free tier, that turns a free tool into a monthly bill, and the reviews collected over the years are the thing at stake. Whether you stay on a paid plan or move, run the export first. It gives you a dated copy of your reviews that you control, and it is the file any other app will ask you for.
How to export reviews from Stamped, step by step
The self-serve export works from a filtered view, not from a single "export everything" button. Stamped only shows the download button once a filter or keyword search is applied, so for a full file you either choose a filter broad enough to match every review, or export in batches and combine them. The simpler route for a store with thousands of reviews is the one Stamped itself names: ask support for a full export.
Stamped treats large exports as a security matter. Anything over 50 reviews is not downloaded in the browser: it is sent to the registered email address on the account, and the registered owner is copied in. If the store owner and the person doing the export are different people, tell the owner the email is coming.
- In the Stamped dashboard, open the Reviews section.
- Click the tab you want to export from (all reviews, checkout comments or NPS).
- Apply a filter or type a keyword search. The download button appears only after this.
- Click the download button. Under 50 reviews downloads straight away.
- Over 50 reviews: check the inbox of the registered email address, and the account owner’s, for the file.
- For every review and NPS response in one file, email [email protected] and ask for a full export.
- Keep the original file untouched and work on a copy.
What is in a Stamped review CSV
Stamped does not publish a column list for its export file, and headers change over time, so open the file and match columns by meaning rather than by name. What Stamped does publish is the format it uses for a review record on import, which tells you which fields a Stamped review carries and which ones to look for in your export. The names below are Stamped’s own, from that import format.
- product_id or product_handle: the Shopify product the review belongs to. The field every later import depends on.
- productTitle, productUrl, productImageUrl: the product as it was when reviewed.
- rating: the star score, 1 to 5.
- author and email: the reviewer’s name, and an email that is never shown on the widget.
- title and body: the review headline and text.
- created_at: when the review was written, as YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS.
- reply, replied_at, publishedReply: your public reply, its date, and whether it shows.
- published: whether the review is live or hidden.
- photoFilenames (up to 3) and videoFilenames (1): the media fields. Expect these to be empty in a self-serve export.
- tags, votes_up, votes_down, location, featured, recommended: extras worth keeping if they are present.
What the Stamped export leaves out, and how to get it
Photos and videos are the big gap. Migration guides from other review apps, Junip’s among them, report that Stamped’s self-serve export does not include photo and video attachments: the review text comes through, the media does not. Stamped’s own export article does not mention media either way, which is why the support route matters. When you email [email protected], ask in writing for an export of all review data including the photo and video files, and ask how the files map back to each review.
While you wait, you can move the text-only reviews first. In the reviews list, filter to Has Photo is False, export that set, and import it. The photo and video reviews follow once support sends the full file.
Questions and answers are the second gap. Stamped keeps them in a Questions tab, and its help centre documents no export for them, so add Q&A to the same support request. NPS scores and checkout comments are covered by the normal export: open their tab in the Reviews section, apply a filter and download.
- Photos and videos: ask [email protected] for the full export with media files.
- Text-only reviews now: filter Has Photo is False and export that set.
- Q&A: ask support in the same request; no self-serve export is documented.
- NPS and checkout comments: export from their own tab in the Reviews section.
- Hidden or unpublished reviews: check the published column and ask support if they are missing.
How to check the file before you rely on it
A filtered export can quietly miss rows, so reconcile it against the dashboard before you plan the move. Compare the total number of reviews, the oldest and newest dates, and the average rating. Count how many rows have a product ID or handle, because a review with neither cannot be matched to a product anywhere else. Then count how many reviews in the dashboard carry a photo or video, so you know how many media files the support export needs to contain.
If you exported in batches, check for duplicates where the batches overlap before you combine them, and keep each batch file as it came.
How to keep your Google stars through the move
Google does not store your star rating. It reads it from the review structured data printed on each product page, every time it crawls. The stars drop out when there is a gap between the old markup disappearing and the new markup appearing, so the order of the cutover is what protects them.
Import the reviews into the new app and check that its markup is live on the product pages while Stamped is still installed. Only then remove the Stamped widgets and uninstall. Keep one set of review markup on each page at any time, never two and never none, and test a few product pages in Google’s Rich Results Test after the switch. Because Stamped needs a paid plan to display reviews, plan the switch before the plan lapses rather than after.
- Import into the new app while Stamped is still installed.
- Confirm the new review markup is on your product pages.
- Remove the Stamped widgets, then uninstall.
- Test a few product pages in the Rich Results Test.
- Check the review count in Search Console over the following weeks.
Importing your Stamped reviews into BeyondReviews
If you are choosing where the reviews go next, BeyondReviews is the move we recommend. Importing your Stamped reviews is part of setup, and they count toward your rating from day one. Keeping your stars in Google through the move is treated as our problem, not yours. Reviews and your replies are written into the product page’s own HTML, with Review and Product schema, so Google and AI answer engines can read them without running a script.
It is free up to 100 orders a month, with unlimited review requests, photo and video reviews and Google stars, which matters to a store that left Stamped because the free plan went. From there it does the part Stamped was not built for: it counts the phrases your customers repeat, drafts a reply to every review in your voice, and puts the phrases you approve into the page, so the reviews you brought over help the next buyer find you.
Frequently asked questions
Can I export all my reviews from Stamped at once?
Not with one button. The self-serve export works on a filtered view, so apply a filter that covers every review, or export in batches. For a single file with every review and NPS response, email [email protected] and ask for a full export.
Why did my Stamped export not download?
Exports over 50 reviews are emailed rather than downloaded. The file goes to the registered email address on the account, and the account owner is copied in. Check both inboxes, including spam.
Does the Stamped export include photos and videos?
Not the self-serve one. Migration guides from other apps report that only the review text comes through. Ask [email protected] for an export that includes the photo and video files, and ask how each file maps to its review.
Will I lose my reviews now Stamped has no free plan?
Stamped says you need a paid plan to display reviews in its widgets. Export them first either way. If you move, BeyondReviews imports them as part of setup, counts them toward your rating from day one, and is free up to 100 orders a month.
Can I export Stamped questions and answers?
Stamped’s help centre does not document a self-serve Q&A export. Ask support for your questions and answers in the same request as the full review export.
